Tyler Cameron and Tate Madden Are Engaged – See pictures of his proposal
Bachelor Nation’s Tyler Cameron is officially off the market — again, but this time, there’s a ring involved.
The former Bachelorette heartthrob has proposed to longtime girlfriend Tate Madden after nearly two years of dating, and the couple is officially engaged. Cameron, 33, revealed the happy news on Saturday, August 15, sharing the announcement with fans after previously keeping much of their relationship away from the spotlight.

The couple’s engagement comes after months of speculation about where their relationship was headed. Earlier this year, Cameron opened up about his plans to propose to Madden, even admitting that the process of choosing an engagement ring had become a little more complicated than he expected.
In March, Cameron revealed that he had asked Madden to go ring shopping with him, but she had a different vision. She wanted to shop for the ring with her mom and sisters — something that temporarily put a wrench in Cameron’s proposal plans.
But clearly, the ring-shopping drama didn’t stop the former Bachelorette contestant from getting down on one knee.
From Keeping Things Private to Saying “I Do”
Cameron and Madden first crossed paths in 2022 while filming his home-renovation series and eventually confirmed their relationship publicly in 2024. Cameron has previously explained that he intentionally kept their romance private in the early stages because he wanted them to build a strong foundation away from the intense attention that comes with being a reality TV couple.
That approach seems to have paid off.
In August, just days before their engagement was announced, Cameron spoke about how excited he was about his future with Madden, describing their relationship as something that had grown “very organically.” He also called Madden his “best teammate” and said she has been a major source of support throughout his many career ventures.
“I have always been excited about the future,” Cameron said, adding that he was “even more excited about what the future holds with Tate in it.”
Fans Have Been Waiting for This One

The engagement isn’t exactly a shock to Bachelor Nation fans.
Cameron had been dropping increasingly obvious hints that marriage was in his future with Madden. In 2025, he acknowledged that he was making strides toward marriage, while Madden made her own feelings pretty clear, saying she would marry him “in a second.”
Then, in March 2026, Cameron admitted he planned to propose “soon” — although Madden jokingly called him out for repeatedly using that word.
Apparently, “soon” finally arrived.
Cameron’s Bachelor Journey Comes Full Circle
Cameron first became a Bachelor Nation favorite in 2019 when he competed on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. He ultimately finished as the runner-up, becoming one of the franchise’s most popular contestants despite not receiving the final rose.
His engagement to Madden now marks a very different ending to his Bachelor Nation love story.
After years of speculation surrounding his dating life — including his highly publicized relationship with Brown — Cameron appears to have found the person he wants to build his future with.
And this time, there’s no rose ceremony required.
Tyler Cameron has officially handed out his final rose. 💍❤️
