The Golden Bachelor Finale Spoilers: Does Gerry Pick Theresa or Leslie?

At long last, we finally know who won Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor.

And it’s none other than..

But even before this news got leaked, a Reddit user predicted the winner based on Leslie and Theresa’s social media interaction.

A Bachelor fan on Reddit claimed the answer can be found by looking at the social media activity of the final two contestants.

They went on to explain that they determined the Golden Bachelor winner in “less than five minutes” after scrolling through Leslie and Theresa’s Instagram profiles.

“The winner of the Golden Bachelor is going to be Theresa,” they claimed, writing that after reviewing Theresa’s Instagram activity, she is by far the most engaged with followers compared to the other women.

The biggest sign of her victory on the show was when Theresa liked references to her winning The Golden Bachelor — including one fan comment that reads: “Congrats on him choosing you! I think you’ve given it away.”

Gerry has been open about how difficult falling for multiple women has been for him this season, and told Variety that he has one regret.

“I’ve always tried to commit to myself to only try and say ‘I love you’ to one person for the rest of my life. I only wanted to be intimate with one person for the rest of my life. I failed at that,” he said. “That’s what I alluded to about being in the moment and getting all excited about the concept of being in love. I so regretted it, because I felt like I wasn’t true to myself at that moment. This is what I expected of myself and I failed. When you say that to someone, it can become very destructive.”
