Rachel Lindsay FINALLY Breaks Silence on Divorce From Bryan Abasolo

The Bachelorette’s Rachel Lindsay has finally addressed her divorce from Bryan Abasolo on her Higher Learning podcast with Van Lathan.

Shortly after the chiropractor filed for divorce, the former Bachelorette broke her silence on the subject and how she’s dealing with the divorce.

“I didn’t think I would get emotional,” Rachel started. “First off I just want to say thank you for people who reached out. I’m still trying to reply to people. You just never know how great your circle is until you see all the people that reach out and love you.”

“Obviously, it’s a difficult time [which you know] if you’ve read the headlines,” she continued. “You’re probably wondering why I would even work, but to be honest with you, I need to distract myself from myself. The best way to do that is to do something that I love, and I love Higher Learning.”

Rachel went on to say that she was “going to try my best to get through this podcast,” before saying of her divorce, “I’m not going to talk about it. I will eventually, but now is not the time. [I’m] just trying to take it day by day.”

Bryan announced their split on Instagram.

“After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew,” Bryan wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. “My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go. I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality. Please respect the spaces of our family and friends as we figure out our next steps.”

Rachel Lindsay recently addressed their ups and downs on a December 2023 episode of Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast.

“I just [was like], ‘I want to keep this for ourselves’ and, you know, marriage has ups and downs, but you never know when we’re good or when we’re not because we never put it out there,” she said. “I kind of want to keep it that way, so when I want to share something, I do.”

She went on to add that that they have “totally different lives,” which is one of the reasons they don’t post about each other often on social media.

The chiropractor proposed to Rachel during her season of The Bachelorette in 2017.

The couple tied the knot in 2019 in Mexico nearly two years after they got engaged on the show.
