Tino’s Dad Joe Throws HUGE Shade at ‘The Bachelorette’ – Here’s what he said

The Bachelor Nation saw the awkwardness when Rachel Recchia visited Tino Franco’s hometown and met his family.

Tino’s parents didn’t seem very convinced that the Bachelorette couple were right for each other and they made sure Rachel knew their true feelings.

His dad, Joe Franco, took to Facebook to throw some shade at the show.

“BachelorNation will be sorry when they won’t have me to kick around any more 🙂,” he wrote on Facebook making a reference to Rachel’s father. “And so will Sam Rubin at KTLA Channel 5. Big Tony, you’ll have to wait your turn! 🙂”

Joe continued: “Watch the Bachelorette, tonight at 8 for the (yawn) most shocking finale ever (just part 1). So glad it’s almost over!!! #bachelornation.”

In an earlier facebook post, he wrote:

“Our oldest son is on the Bachelorette, and got the ‘first impression rose’ whatever that is. Never have seen the show,” he started. “Not sure how we feel about the idea of finding your soul mate on TV . . . it’s a bit cheesy, but nothing wrong with a little fun — It’s not 60 Minutes. Let’s hope Tino doesn’t bring shame on the name, and above all, he may not be welcomed back home if he cries on the show! But we love him anyway.”

Yikes!

Here’s a reply from him on Twitter that got the fans talking.

Tino insisted that his parents would come around when Rachel talked about her concerns with him.

“I don’t feel like my dad gets me as much in the relationship sphere,” Tino told Rachel. “It’s not, like, you. They’re really just skeptical of the situation . . . But they know me, and they know, I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t see you as the future.”
