OMG! Leslie Fhima Finally Reveals LIES Gerry Turner Told Her In The Fantasy Suite off-Camera
Leslie Fhima is spilling the beans!
The Bachelor fans saw Leslie Fhima look for love on Season 1 of The Golden Bachelor, and then get her heart brutally broken on the finale episode.
The runner-up gave her first post-show interview on, December 4, episode of the“Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, revealing what Gerry promised and lied to her in the fantasy suites when the cameras weren’t rolling.
“He made plans with me for [the] future. He said kind of, like, ‘Save the date, this is what we’re going to do. I can’t wait for us. In two more days, we’ll be done with this [and] be together, start our life,’” Leslie tells Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt on the podcast.
“Did he say, ‘Will you marry me?’ in there, no, but he all but said that. I would’ve been happy with just, ‘I love you,’ but he took it to a different level.”
She went on to recall the morning of their Fantasy Suite overnight date.
Leslie said that Gerry “didn’t want to leave” and never commented on having “such a hard decision to make.”
“[Gerry] had to make a choice. It’s his journey, his choice. But he could have chosen not to say those things to me. That’s all,” She continued. “He said he wasn’t ready [or] his heart wasn’t ready, or something like that. I kind of was glazing over at that point, but I didn’t get closure from him. And I don’t know if anything he would’ve said would’ve really given me closure.”
Leslie said Gerry Was ‘Harsh’ at ‘After The Final Rose’.
“[He said] something about choosing Theresa over me and I thought that was harsh,” she said. “He could have maybe said that a little bit nicer, especially because being chosen is kind of my [soft spot],”
“Gerry — I feel like he switched. I should have said, ‘I thought you were a man of integrity instead of [saying] you are a man of integrity.’ Because at the end of the day, he didn’t really have the integrity that I thought he had. I mean, listen, I know what I signed up for. … I didn’t expect it to be so hard.”
