Jason Tartick Reveals if He’d Want to Be ‘The Bachelor’ Lead After Kaitlyn Bristowe Split

The fans want Jason Tartick to lead the next season of the Bachelor after his heartbreaking split with Kaitlyn Bristowe.

And especially after Kaitlyn’s date pictures with Tayshia’s ex Zac came out.

But does he want to be the next Bachelor?

The Bachelor alum isn’t completely against the idea — but he doesn’t think the franchise will be “coming to my door.”

“I think I’m probably too old. I think, you know, 35 for a Bachelor is kind of old,” Jason said on his “Trading Secrets” podcast. “Of course, I would consider it. I don’t think they’re coming to my door, let’s just say that.”

“I don’t think I’m ever going to have to worry about that predicament because I believe my ex kind of has a hold on that franchise,” he continued. “I don’t know, I guess time will tell. I don’t know if the franchise has any interest in ever knocking on my door.”

He went on to tease that there’s a “55 percent” chance fans will see him on some sort of unscripted show this year.

“I’ve had a few shows come and talk to me. If I were to do another reality show, I wouldn’t care at all about the money it’s such a short-term way of thinking about it,” he said.

Kaitlyn recently said she was “disappointed” by Jason for playing a victim.

“It’s really disappointing to me the way that Jason’s kind of leaning into the victim mentality because I don’t want to dismiss that he’s hurting,” she shared. “I don’t want to dismiss that his feelings are valid and his feelings are hurting, but I have talked to him so open and honestly. We have been so transparent with each other to have respect for one another. The word disappointed keeps coming up. I feel so disappointed that someone could use a false narrative to garner sympathy for themselves.”

“I wish I could just share my truth and tell you my side. It’s hard to bite my dang tongue sometimes. But you just go on and continue to have your own little made up story in your head and believe what you want to believe. Social media la la land. Good lawwwddd,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
