Courtney Robertson Confronts Trista Sutter For Treating Her ‘like scum’ – Trista’s Reply To Her Leaves Bachelor Nation Stunned

A decade-old Bachelor Nation feud has suddenly exploded back into the spotlight — and this time, Courtney Robertson and OG Bachelorette Trista Sutter came face-to-face to address it.

The confrontation happened during an appearance on iHeartRadio’s Almost Famous podcast, where the two reality stars attempted to finally put their long-running tension behind them. Instead, the conversation became deeply uncomfortable as Robertson confronted Sutter over how she allegedly treated her years ago.

Robertson, who won Ben Flajnik’s season of The Bachelor in 2012, brought up an incident that happened shortly after her engagement to Flajnik ended. According to Robertson, she attended a Bachelor Mansion-related event in Malibu during an especially difficult period — and felt completely ignored by Sutter.

Robertson didn’t hold back when describing the encounter. She told Sutter that “So many people reached out to me to support me. You didn’t give me the f–-ing time of day,” Robertson told Sutter. “[Bachelor Nation host] Chris Harrison was there, and you treated me like scum.”

Then came the accusation that made the conversation even more explosive.

Robertson recalled seeing Bachelor host Chris Harrison at the event and claimed Sutter treated her “like scum.” The accusation immediately brought a years-old disagreement back to the surface.

Sutter, however, said she did not remember the alleged snub in the same way. She also reminded Robertson that she had previously attempted to make peace.

In 2014, Sutter sent Robertson what she described as an “olive branch” email after hearing about Robertson’s book, I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain. Robertson had accepted the apology at the time, but their apparent truce eventually fell apart.

“Years later, you’re on multiple podcasts [like] Zachary Reality saying that I would go to the opening of an envelope,” Sutter said.

Sutter then brought up comments Robertson had allegedly made about her years later, including remarks on podcasts. The exchange became increasingly tense, with neither woman appearing ready to simply brush aside what had happened in the past.

For Robertson, the timing was especially uncomfortable. She revealed that she is currently going through a divorce and said the confrontation was not an easy situation for her.

She also questioned whether the entire face-to-face meeting was fair, suggesting to Ashley Iaconetti that the setup felt “a little greedy.”

But the drama didn’t end when the podcast did.

Two days later, Sutter addressed the confrontation on her own Almost Famous OGs podcast with Bob Guiney — and her reaction was surprisingly emotional.

Sutter admitted that she was still shaken by what happened. She became tearful while discussing the confrontation and acknowledged that conflict is particularly difficult for her.

Looking back, Sutter said she wished she had approached the conversation differently. Rather than allowing her own hurt to take over, she wished she had started the conversation “with love.”

“I wanted my hurt to be heard, and I wish I would have just put that aside and started with love,” she admitted. “I just wish I would have started with that,” Trista Sutter said.

“I love my Bachelor Nation family. She is part of that,” Sutter said. “But we don’t have to be friends, you know… I don’t necessarily like certain things that she’s said about me, and I guarantee she doesn’t like things that I’ve said about her. So there’s that.”

She continued, “But the hope is that we can move forward, and if she’s listening — which she’s got a lot going on, I don’t expect her to be — but I do hope that she knows that I’m sorry, that if there is any hope for any kind of friendship, because as she has said on other podcasts, we do have mutual friends. I don’t like awkward. I don’t like conflict.”

And despite everything that was said, Sutter isn’t completely closing the door on reconciliation.

She acknowledged that she and Robertson don’t necessarily have to become friends, but emphasized that Robertson remains part of the larger Bachelor Nation family. Sutter also expressed hope that they could eventually move forward and said she was sorry.

The shocking confrontation has now reignited interest in one of Bachelor Nation’s lesser-known feuds — proving that, even after more than a decade, old reality-TV drama can still come back with a vengeance.
