Sam McKinney’s Ex Speaks Out and It’s NOT Good, Reports Reality Steve

Jenn Tran broke the Bachelor tradition on the premiere night by only kissing one of her 25 suitors.

We’re of course talking about Sam M, who was also given the first-impression rose.

“I’ve seen the show; I know how it works. I know people are making out left and right,” Jenn told USA TODAY in an interview before the premiere. “I really just wanted to stay true to who I am.”

Turns out, Sam M is the BIGGEST red flag!

Sam McKinney’s ex, Rayleigh, reached out to Reality Steve after she took to Tik Tok to post a video explaining how she met him in October, how the two fell in love with each other after meeting at a wedding.

Things got so serious between them that the couple even met each others families.

Oh, and during the entire time that they were together, he never told her that he applied to be a contestant on the Bachelorette.

Rayleigh found out he was going on the show on the day he left for filming. Sam M sent her a text on the plane, which was read and confirmed by Steve on his podcast.

Oh and Sam was also once engaged. The engagement was broken off in June 2023.

Which he mentioned on the show. What he failed to mention was he was also hooking up with his ex fiancé until January of this year.

“Sam M was my first kiss of the evening and the only kiss of night one,” Jenn said. “I was conscious of the fact that when I enter relationships, it takes a lot for me to get to that level with the person. I think kissing is such an intimate thing, and I needed that emotional connection before getting there, so I knew I wasn’t going to kiss that many people.”

“I didn’t know how many people I was going to kiss, but I knew that it was going to take a little bit more than just a ‘Hey, how are you? Let’s make out,'” she said with a laugh.

“As women sometimes we’re like, ‘Oh, if somebody leans in, I have to kiss them.’ And it’s like, no, you have a say over what you want to do, and it’s OK to just say no. It doesn’t mean that you hate them. It just means that you’re not ready yet. And it’s OK to let somebody know that.”

Sam asked how she was feeling and Jenn admitted that she was nervous.

“I don’t know. I feel like there has been something there, and I can’t stop thinking about you all night. And I don’t always, you know, like, pick the right men, but there is something in my gut that’s just telling me that, you know, there’s something here, and I’m really excited about it,” Jenn tells him.

“And I’m really excited to get to know you a lot more. And I can’t stop thinking about you, so I’m excited about it.”
