Justin Glaze and Lexi Young’s Heated Instagram Fight Following Bachelor in Paradise Rose Ceremony
The drama from Bachelor in Paradise isn’t staying on the beach. Fans were quick to notice a heated exchange between former contestants Justin Glaze and Lexi Young on Instagram following the latest rose ceremony episode.
After the episode aired, Justin posted a cryptic Instagram story that many believed was aimed at Lexi. “Some people play the victim like it’s an Olympic sport,” he wrote, alongside a smirking emoji. While he didn’t tag anyone directly, followers quickly connected the dots.
Lexi, not one to stay silent, clapped back with a pointed post of her own: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” She followed it up with a carousel of beachside photos and the caption: “Soft on the outside, savage when needed. #StillClassyThough.”
Justin didn’t let the remark slide, choosing instead to defend his actions and share his version of events:
Justin Glaze:
“I had no intention to lead anyone on. I was very intentional with who I pursued. But unfortunately the same interest was not reciprocated for days, where I was then informed that this person didn’t have interest in dating someone that didn’t live where she lived, was unsure if we wanted the same things out of life, etc… as well as telling me to pursue other women as she wanted to pursue other men, prior to ending things with me.”
Lexi Young soon responded to Justin’s comment directly, clearly frustrated with how her words were being represented:
Lexi Young:
“That narrative isn’t it. I won’t let you twist my words or rewrite my truth. We both know the reality of what happened. I genuinely hope you take the time to grow and heal so you don’t repeat this kind of behavior with someone else. Wishing you clarity and accountability on that path.”
Justin replied again, this time saying that he had tried to resolve things privately after filming:
Justin Glaze:
“I absolutely value communication. I’ve tried to reach out to you twice post-show in an effort to communicate in which I’ve received zero response from you. Nonetheless, still apologize for what transpired and wish you the best.”
Lexi had the final word in the exchange, addressing Justin’s claim and clarifying why she chose not to engage after the show:
Lexi Young:
“I asked you directly to come to me if anything changed, and you chose not to. That lack of respect speaks volumes. I didn’t reach out after the show because, frankly, there was nothing left to say. I’m moving on with my life. Wishing you clarity and healing.”
Sources close to the show suggest that the two had unresolved tension during filming, with a disagreement that never fully played out on-screen. “There was definitely more behind-the-scenes friction than what viewers saw,” a production insider told Reality Weekly. “It was only a matter of time before it spilled onto social media.”
Drama spilled off the beach following the July 14 rose ceremony on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, when Justin Glaze handed his rose to his ex, Susie Evans, instead of his budding flame, Lexi Young—resulting in Susie declining the rose, and Justin storming off.
The next day on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Justin dug in. He defended his choice, saying he “stands by the choice… don’t have any regrets” but admitted he wished he’d been allowed to talk through things with Lexi and Susie. Justin explained his intent was selfless: he wanted to give Susie—who he called “one of the most selfless people I know”—a chance to reconnect with others after arriving late on the beach.
