Joey Graziadei Reveals Exactly When He Knew Kelsey Was ‘The One’
Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast where they opened up about their first night together.
At what point in the season did he start to think that Kelsey could be the one?
Speaking of the first night, Joey said: “One of the producers brought it up that you’re going to have an idea of everyone after night one and then you’re going to go to bed and wake up and someone is going to be on your mind.
“You’re going to have a dream about her or there’s going to be someone you aren’t going to be able to get out of your head… I went to bed and I woke up the next morning having had a full-on dream about Kelsey.”
“She was the only person on my mind when I woke up the next day and I told everyone the next day that this Kelsey girl is on my mind and I think the voodoo doll worked,” he joked. “That was the weirdest thing and I couldn’t wait for our date because she was the one that I couldn’t get out of my head… I didn’t think I was going to dream about anybody but she was the one I dreamed about.”
Joey also talked about the moment he first saw Kelsey come out of the limo on night one.
“I was blown away. The limo entrances are always at different times and she was actually the last one out of the limo… So after 32 women, I was getting to the point where I was kind of ready to go inside and give this toast and ready to get this thing going.”
“But she walked out and I was like, ‘Holy s**t, this is amazing. This was worth it for 32 because she is the last one.’ I was really blown away right away. We always joke about our first conversation on night one, she was so nervous. I think she was kind of upset I had kissed other women and had heard it through the house.”
Speaking of how he fell in love with her, he said: “There’s been so many little moments,” Joey said adding that their trip to the Spanish city of Ronda “was a huge one for us, having our first one-on-one,” he adds. “I think that was the first time that I knew something was building, that was possibly going to be a forever.”
