Jesse Palmer Reveals How He Really Felt When Gabby and Erich broke up: ‘I know they’re..’

Another one bites the dust as Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer have officially broken up!

The host of the The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, Jesse Palmer, commented on the break up and his true feelings when he heard the news at the Bachelor in Paradise Tastemaker event in Hollywood on Saturday.

He also revealed that he had a conversation with both of them after they announced their split last week.

“I spoke to her yesterday and spoke to Erich this morning, and I know they’re still trying to kind of work through things, so just giving them the space that they need,” Jesse Palmer told Us Weekly.

“They are two amazing people and everybody saw the potential in that relationship and just wish them the best for whatever that is, whatever that means.”

“[I’m] certainly bummed for [Gabby and Rachel], but they’re both such amazing women and amazing people and great friends too. Obviously, you just wish them all the happiness moving forward, and [I’m] really excited for what’s in store for both of them ‘cause they’re such rock stars,’ he added.

Gabby and Erich went public with their breakup on Friday after she had said they were supporting each other from afar.

In response to the question asked by FOX news, “Are you guys still together, like, how’s everything going?” Gabby vaguely said, “Life is just really busy for the both of us right now. So I understand [the Bachelor Nation’s] concern but we’re just kind of, you know, going forward with each of our individual interests and supporting each other from afar.”

Erich Schwer was previously accused of breaking up with his ex to be on the Bachelorette with a motive to advance his career instead of finding the love of his life.

“I met this girl about a month before this all started, and I had no idea I was going to come here,” Erich said. “And ultimately, I realised there was not a connection long-term, and it was about the same time the show had reached out. I handled it poorly 100 percent.”

“I led her on and I want to own that. No hard feelings toward this girl at all. I understand her actions,” he confessed during the After the Final Rose special. “I didn’t want to have a hard conversation. But I’ve learned a lot from it. I want to own that 100 percent. I do not have any hard feelings for this girl. It’s a mistake I made on my part.”

In an interview from September, Gabby said that they both live in L.A., so there’s no long distance drama.

“Him and I are both in L.A., so we’re not long-distance, which I think is the hardest part about being in a relationship,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in September 2022. “So we’re just going to see when our lease ends and stuff, where we’re at. But we do talk about the future.”
