Jason & Molly Mesnick Reveal Sam McKinney was Worse Than His Edit on The Show
Jason and Molly Mesnick made a guest appearance on the most recent episode of The Bachelorette.
“The producers gave us a rundown on all of the guys coming,” Molly said on the recent episode of the Almost Famous podcast. “I mean, the biggest thing they honed in on is that she was obsessed with Sam McKinney.”
“But it’s surprising to me, I don’t know why it’s surprising, I know how the show works — they really were like, ‘She is obsessed with him, she loves him, she can’t get him out of her head,’” she continued. “But then watching the season up to this point, they don’t make it seem like that. So editing is a tricky, funny thing.”
The couple went on to reveal that Sam M was worse than the edit made him out to be.
“Sam is a former athlete,” Jason says. “There were things said that they had to edit out that were terrible and we can’t even talk about. There were things that didn’t make it on air that will never, ever be said by anybody.”
Molly agreed, “We can’t get into that. That was a moment where I was just like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe you just said that!'”
“He just rambles and rambles and rambles. There was no meat to what he was saying, and he couldn’t really get his thoughts out, he doesn’t give her anything.”
