Chris Harrison Returns to Reality TV With New Dating Show ‘The Vow’ – And We Have A Date For The Premiere
Chris Harrison is officially returning to the world of reality dating television.
The longtime Bachelor host is stepping back into the genre with a brand-new series, “Chris Harrison’s The Vow,” coming exclusively to Fox Nation this fall.
The upcoming show marks Harrison’s return to the dating-show world after his departure from The Bachelor franchise in 2021. This time, however, he isn’t simply stepping in as a host — Harrison is also an executive producer on the project alongside his wife, Lauren Zima.
Chris Harrison Is Back in the Dating Game

Fox Nation announced that The Vow will premiere on November 11, 2026, with the first two episodes debuting that day. New episodes will then be released weekly on Wednesdays, with the six-episode season scheduled to conclude on December 9.
The series will follow 30-year-old Jace Cates, who will date 10 women who are looking for a serious relationship and ultimately marriage.
Rather than focusing solely on chemistry and the usual reality-TV dating drama, The Vow is designed around questions about whether couples are genuinely compatible for a long-term relationship.
According to Fox Nation, the contestants will face dates and real-world compatibility challenges that explore subjects including faith, family, communication and long-term goals.
The concept represents a noticeable shift from the format Harrison became famous for with The Bachelor, where contestants traditionally compete for a relationship with one lead.
A Dating Show Focused on Marriage

Harrison has made it clear that The Vow is intended to put commitment at the center of the dating experience.
In a statement announcing the series, Harrison said he was excited to return to helping people find love and described Fox Nation as an important partner in bringing the project to life.
He also said the show was inspired by what he described as a “faith-driven renaissance” taking place across the country.
The series will ask whether genuine, lasting love can still be found in modern dating, while encouraging the participants to seriously consider whether their relationships could work beyond the cameras.
The official announcement also says contestants will have opportunities to leave the process if they no longer believe a relationship has a genuine future.
Chris Harrison Helped Create the Show
One of the biggest differences between The Vow and Harrison’s previous reality-TV work is how involved he is behind the scenes.
Harrison and Zima developed the project together, with Harrison serving as an executive producer.
The production team also includes Nicholas Caprio, Tom Huffman and showrunner Louis Caric, while Elan Gale — another familiar name to Bachelor fans — serves as a consulting producer.
The show is being produced in partnership with Lionsgate Alternative Television.
A Familiar ‘Bachelor’ Couple Will Also Appear
Fans of the franchise may recognize at least two faces during the new series.
Sean and Catherine Lowe, one of the better-known couples to come out of The Bachelor, are set to appear during the season.
The pair will share their experiences and offer advice about building a lasting relationship.
Their appearance gives the new series a direct connection to the franchise that made Harrison a household name in the dating-show world.
Harrison’s First Major Dating Show Since Leaving ‘The Bachelor’
Harrison hosted The Bachelor from its debut in 2002 through 2021 and became one of the most recognizable figures associated with reality dating television.
His exit from the franchise came following controversy surrounding comments he made during a 2021 interview with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay. Harrison subsequently stepped away from his hosting duties.
Jesse Palmer later took over as host of The Bachelor.
Now, more than five years after his departure, Harrison is returning to the genre with a project that he helped develop himself.
Earlier this year, Harrison had already teased that his new series would be different from The Bachelor and that he was particularly excited about having the opportunity to create the show from the ground up.
When Does ‘The Vow’ Premiere?
Chris Harrison’s The Vow premieres November 11, 2026, on Fox Nation.
The first two episodes will be released on premiere day, followed by weekly episodes on Wednesdays. The six-episode season is scheduled to end on December 9.
With Harrison back at the center of a dating series — and this time helping shape the format himself — The Vow gives Bachelor Nation viewers a new opportunity to see the former host return to the genre that defined his television career.
