Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Reveal Wedding Venue and Baby Plans

Bachelor Nation had a big reason to celebrate last week as Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe celebrated their three year engagement anniversary.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Shawn spoke on why they’re taking so long to set a date.

“We have our own stride with how we want to take our relationship from the show out into the real world and it really has been an adjustment. But we’ve always been on the same page. We click like that. We’ve been normal and want to keep that normalcy. It blows my mind when people ask, ‘Why haven’t you gotten married?’ Because we’ve been together for three years and I’d like to see the timeline on people’s relationships and engagements who are asking us. Being together for three years without getting married doesn’t seem strange to me.”

“[Shawn and I] are so on the same page. I remember [former Bachelorette] Andi Dorfman saying something like, she knew it was over with Josh [Murray] when they didn’t set a date, and I’m like, that is not how we feel at all.”

The reality couple did a photo shoot for Wedding Vacations by Sunwing, a Canadian wedding destination company, where they talked about their much talked about wedding, venue, and babies!

“In the next three years, you can expect babies. That would be ideal… [Shawn] is so good with kids and even seeing how he is with our dog, I’m like, ‘You’re gonna be such a good dad! He’s gonna be amazing.”

“We talk about it, it’s not that we don’t talk about it, we just haven’t set a date,” Kaitlyn tells ET. “And also, I just feel like I don’t have time to get married right now, I’m a busy woman!”

Location? Napa! The sunny California destination is where they’re planning to tie the knot.

“I might do a wedding crop top, a wedding romper, a wedding dress, keep it coming!”

The former Bachelorette admits that the couple have thought of eloping multiple times.

“We do consider eloping actually all the time. When we were in Hawaii last, we were like, ‘Should we just do it and get it over with?'”

“I always go back and forth. A year ago, I was like, ‘I want a big wedding!”she continues “When we know, we’ll decide and we’ll throw it together, but it’s not going to be your traditional wedding. I’m not into the details, I don’t care what color the flowers are, I just don’t care about that stuff, I just want it to be a big fun party.”
