Rachel Lindsay Says She Was ‘Weirded Out’ After Engagement with Ex Bryan Abasolo – Calls Him a ‘LEECH’
Bryan Abasolo and Rachel Lindsay’s divorce is getting messier!
Rachel Lindsay, who got engaged to Bryan in 2017, is looking back on her engagement day to the chiropractor, as she admitted she ‘felt weird’ and ‘scared’ following the proposal.
“I can’t say exciting was the word. I was scared. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, now I have to tell my parents that I got engaged,’ because when I left to go do The Bachelor, I was like, ‘Don’t worry, I’m not going to fall for any of these men,’ and I did, so I was so terrified to tell them,” Rachel said. “And then I just kept looking at the ring, and he was excited, and I just was like, I think I was very quiet on the way home. I just – I was weirded out.”
The former Bachelorette also revealed that she did not think going into the show that she was going to get engaged and get married!
“After that first night, I was like, there’s potential here, but I still was like, there’s no way I’m gonna marry this person. And even when you get engaged at the end, it’s the scariest day when the cameras shut down,” she said. “But you have this ring on your finger, and there’s this man, and for the first time, you ride in the car together, you’re going to the same hotel room together. It’s like – this is the beginning of your new life.”
Bryan Abasolo has come out to accuse Rachel of sending a disrespectful text message after making her first spousal support payment.
He claimed in a court document submitted Monday and obtained by InTouch that one of his bi-monthly spousal support payments was electronically transferred to him with a confirmation text that read, “BofA: Glender Ruth Llc sent you $6,628.50 for ‘Temp Leech Money.’”
“From day one, I have been committed to working cooperatively with Rachel and her professionals to amicably resolve this case,” he wrote in the filing. “But Rachel continues to obstruct the process while spinning false narrative about her ‘cooperation’ to the court. She continues to instigate confrontation, just as she did prior to my filing for divorce.”
“When I first met my divorce coach last year, I was emotionally and psychologically beaten down,” Bryan wrote on his July 18 Instagram Story over an image of him and coach Rene Garcia. “I needed an objective opinion and guidance to make a huge decision.”
“I credit @Renesance_Man who I now call a friend for helping me face the PR tricks and gaslighting I was warned was coming. I’m thankful”
