Jesse Palmer Gives Updates on Bachelor in Paradise 10 and Golden Paradise

Jesse Palmer recently shared his excitement about the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, which is set to return in 2025 after a summer hiatus. In a recent interview, he hinted at some intriguing updates, teasing fans about fresh twists and potential surprises in the cast lineup.

He also mentioned the possibility of including some cast members from Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette, which could add a new dynamic to the show. Jesse emphasized that the blending of different franchise contestants could lead to unique interactions and unexpected romances.

“I absolutely hope so and I believe in manifestation. I think it would be so great. I mean, the cast from Gerry’s season, the cast from Joan’s season, it’s incredible. And as long as it’s not Atlantic City or Naples, Florida — not a retirement place — it has to be a tropical beach. And personally, I think you should have air conditioning.”

Absolutely! Fans of Bachelor in Paradise are well aware that the conditions in Mexico can be a bit challenging. Between the humidity and the occasional crab sightings, it’s not always the idyllic paradise it seems.

The host is definitely picking up on the buzz around potential connections between cast members from Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette. He specifically highlighted the chemistry he sees between Susan Noles and Jack Lencioni, suggesting that their dynamic could lead to some intriguing moments in Bachelor in Paradise.

“I think you need to have an open kitchen and let Jack and Susan go in there — it would be amazing. You would need a kitchen cam at all times just to see what they’re cooking up,” he added.

“I do know some of the ideas that are being pitched around. I know there’s a lot of different stuff sort of in the Bachelor verse that they’re putting into this,” Jesse told Us Weekly. “It sounds like a lot of the old, and it sounds like there are some new ideas being floated in as well. I’m really excited. I really missed going to the beach this past year. Wells [Adams] and I were hanging out a little while ago and we were both talking about how stoked we were to go back. So I can’t wait for that time to come. I just hope maybe there’s gonna be some sort of Golden iteration as well.”

During a conversation with Joan Vassos at the high tea event in NYC, the 61-year-old lead of Golden Bachelorette expressed her enthusiasm about the potential connections between her exes and the women from Golden Bachelor.

“That is such a great question, because I absolutely have at least two matches that I think are made in heaven and that I want to be married. I swear I did. And I think that is a really cute thing, because all the Golden ladies really want to meet the Golden guys. So we need to figure out some way to make that happen,” Joan Vassos said. “If it’s Paradise, great. If it’s just like, ‘Let’s have like a reunion, like a party with everybody’ or something, I think it would be so fun.”

During the 2024 Television Critics Association’s press tour, executive producers Bennett Graebner, Jason Ehrlich, and Claire Freeland discussed the potential for a senior Bachelor in Paradise spinoff. Ehrlich expressed enthusiasm for exploring what such a show could look like, while Freeland highlighted the deserving women from The Golden Bachelor cast who have resonated with audiences. The producers see a lot of storytelling potential for these contestants, suggesting that there’s a strong interest in giving them more opportunities to find love, whether in a Paradise setting or another format. It’s a promising direction for the franchise, and fans will be eager to see what develops!

“We would all love to see what that looks like. There are so many deserving women,” Freeland added, referencing The Golden Bachelor cast. “When we think about what other opportunities are there for these women who have connected so much with the audience, and who have just so much more story to tell, it’s very exciting to think what the possibilities could be — whether it’s Paradise or something else.”

New episodes of The Golden Bachelorette premiere Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. on ABC with next-day streaming on Hulu.
