Devin was Spotted With His Ex While Being Engaged to Jenn – Jenn Tran RESPONDS

The Bachelorette winner Devin Strader was spotted out with another woman before the season 21 finale.

On Sept. 6, 2024, a Bachelorette fan account on TikTok shared a video showing Devin with his ex just weeks before the finale. 

Here’s how Jenn Tran responded to the video.

Jenn also said at this time that they were still actively communicating about meeting up and “seeing where things go.”

“Seeing if we could end things on good terms or whatever it was, I deserved a conversation in person,” she said. “Like I wanted that conversation in person and not to have to do that on live TV. He was leading me on to believe that there was hope and there was something there the whole month, then he’s out in New York with this girl, to my knowledge, it’s one of his ex-girlfriends.”

The Bachelorette went on to reveal that she had received a lot of DMs about Devin and his ex-girlfriend, including photos of them at the airport as they flew to New York together and a tip that they were spotted making out at a bar just three weeks before the Bachelorette finale.

And then there was this reply on the original post.

Ashley Iaconetti claimed that Devin Strader slid into her friend’s DMs after splitting with The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran.

“Within the past week, I heard from a really good friend who said that Devin had slid into her DMs,” Ashley said in an episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast.

When her co host, Ben Higgins, asked if the friend was a member of Bachelor Nation, Ashley said she wasn’t “which makes it worse.”

Ashely continued, “This girl followed him, just because she’s been a fan of him from the show, liked his personality. Then he DM’d her.”

During the live finale, Jenn insisted that Devin seemed to pull away “almost immediately” after their filming and she began noticing “inconsistencies” in him, specifically in what he was “promising [her] and then not fulfilling.”

Devin Strader has finally broken his silence on the controversial breakup with Jenn Tran.

In a 13-minute video posted to his Instagram, the Bachelorette winner addressed his relationship with Jenn and opened up about the factors that led to decision to end their relationship. 

“There are plenty of people upset with me right now,” he said in the beginning of the video as he wants to give “a little more context to the situation” as well as “take accountability and apologize for some of the things that I wasn’t able to say.”

In “looking to clear up a few rumors of the false narrative that’s being said,” Devin says while showing a screenshot of text messages he and Jenn sent each other after leaving the show and in the lead-up to After the Final Rose.

“All I’m trying to do here is show that this was a two-way relationship,” Devin said. “And I think we can both be held accountable. I’m in no way sitting here trying to say I was perfect throughout that relationship but I am looking to clear up a few rumors and the false narrative that is being said about me.”

“Post show, we both had missteps, we both had flaws,” he explained in the video. “We both had mistakes along the way, but the love that Jenn and I had, and the love especially that I had for Jenn, is not something that I’m attempting to lie about.”

What was the reason for the break up?

“I feel like no matter what I was doing and no matter how hard I was trying, it wasn’t good enough, no matter how much effort I would put in. It continued to take an emotional toll on me,” he said. “At that point, I really did have to make just a decision based on my own happiness, because again, at the end of the day, what’s best for me is what’s best for me.”

While watching the episodes, Devin says he learned that he was not Jenn’s first choice, saying he had to “watch myself place second” to Marcus Shoberg, who ended the season as the runner-up.

“I don’t fault her for the feelings that she had towards Marcus,” he added, “but I wasn’t informed of that even during our relationship.”
