Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko Have Officially Set a Wedding Date

Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko found love and got engaged on the Bachelorette.

And now, the couple have have officially set their wedding date!

The former Bachelorette says she and Dotun are in full-blown wedding prep.

“Wedding planning is definitely challenging but in the sense that it’s just so much to prepare for and I did not know how much I was walking into,” Charity told ET.

The children and family therapist also revealed that they have officially finalized a date for the wedding, but are keeping it to themselves as they continue to prep for the day.

“2025, just know that,” she shared. “So next year — we’ve got time.”

“We’re really just taking it day by day because we really just want to enjoy the planning of it all. So, I think we’ve given ourselves enough time to like hopefully not become too stressed. But we’re moving along, slowly but surely.”

“We’re not really trying to have a super incredibly 17-year length engagement,” she told PEOPLE. “We obviously came here to find love, and we have successfully done that. So [we’re] super happy to get our lives started.”

In a Q&A on Instagram, a fan asked Charity the reason for their wait till 2025.

Here’s what she replied:

“Planning. Simple as that. I think a lot of y’all forget or may not know what all has to go into wedding planning, and for me, I personally do not want to plan a wedding in a rush of 5 months. I choose peace and not stress which I will experience regardless cause it’s wedding planning.”

Charity and Dotun fell in love on season 20 of The Bachelorette and got engaged during the show’s finale, which aired at the end of August.
