Season 17 of The Bachelorette starts filming in the first week of March and wait for the next lead is over.

ABC will make an official announcement for the next lead at Matt James’ After The Final Rose finale episode of The Bachelor.

But you don’t have to wait that long to find out the name!

According to Reality Steve, the next Bachelorette was announced earlier this week at the Women Tell All taping.

And the next Bachelorette is none other than..

The fan favourite..

Katie Thurston!

“At the ‘Women Tell All’ taping this past Thursday, Katie Thurston was announced as the next bachelorette,” Reality Steve tweeted on Feb. 6.

He also said that Katie is going to be eliminated on a one-on-one date on the next episode of The Bachelor.

“Katie gets eliminated on Monday’s episode during her 1-on-1 with Matt,” he tweeted.

Well, we can’t wait for her to be the star of her own season this May!
