Nick Viall, who finished as the runner-up on two seasons of The Bachelorette and is currently on Bachelor in Paradise, has been cast by ABC as the star of The Bachelor Season 21.
He was announced as The Bachelor on the After Paradise Live by Sean Lowe and Michelle Collins. He was finally interviewed as The Bachelor and not a runner-up.
“I’m definitely ready for it — I’m really excited,” Viall said when asked about how he’s feeling.
When asked about what he likes in a woman and his ideal mate, he said – “I’ve always liked confidence. Someone who makes me a better person and challenges me.”
Luke Pell was the fan favorite last season and was most definitely tipped to be the next Bachelor. But just like last season when Caila Quinn was replaced by JoJo Fletcher for the Bachelorette, things took a turn and we have a new Bachelor.
