Bachelor Nation may make history in 2017, and not just for the number of times (FOUR) they’ve cast Nick Viall, but for their next Bachelorette candidate, Rachel Lindsay. *Scroll down for pictures*
The newest Bachelor Nick Viall is a familiar face to fans of the show, but the next Bachelorette may hopefully look a little different than the former 12 Bachelorettes.
It’s possible ABC will finally have a Bachelorette of color, casting a black woman from “The Bachelor” Season 21 as the lead for “The Bachelorette” Season 13.
After 20 seasons of The Bachelor and 12 seasons of The Bachelorette, she would be the first person in the show’s history to be cast as the main lead.
So how far did she make it?
She made it to the TOP 4. Rachel Lindsay would be the first Black woman to ever reach the final four in 20 seasons of the show.
As it has been a trend for the previous 12 seasons of The Bachelorette, every one of the leads finished in the top 4 of the Bachelor season they were on. So, one of the three will be the next Bachelorette.
