Another split in Paradise.
Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson have decided to separate.
The couple got married on June 16, 2019, at Vidanta Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. The wedding was aired on Bachelor in Paradise Season 6.
The Bachelor in Paradise season 5 couple shared the sad news with an official statement to Bachelor Nation on Valentines Day.
Here’s what their statement reads:
“It hurts to announce that at this moment, we have mutually decided to separate. Never did we imagine this scenario, but we’ve come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves. We are best friends that love and care for each other so deeply.”
“We’ve appreciated everyone’s love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this.”
The Paradise couple almost broke up and called off their wedding in December 2018.
“It’s one of those things where it’s like an earthquake, the plate tectonics, so out of place, everything was shaking. We finally dug deep and had these deep-rooted conversations that finally allowed us to feel stable and that allowed us to go ahead and really identify the importance of understanding one another.”
“We were both having issues in ourselves that we just needed to work on it and come together as one.”
“You hit every hard point in ‘Paradise,’ and when you get out of there, you take a step back and do the things that start and begin a relationship in the real world.”
“Doing the dating, doing the normal stuff, and blocking things out really helped put a focus on what things matter the most in the relationship.”
“Saying ‘I do’ and making that commitment to one another, I feel like our relationship is just in a completely different transcended state where we are a team and have each other’s backs no matter what,” Krystal added.
Chris Randone has deleted his Instagram account after announcing their break up.
