CLARE CRAWLEY IS THE NEW BACHELORETTE!
The official announcement will be made on Good Morning America on Monday morning.
The 38 year old former Bachelor and Bachelor Winter Games contestant will lead her own season 16 of the Bachelorette.
Here are some Twitter reactions for Clare as the Bachelorette.
Here’s what host Chris Harrison told US Weekly prior to the GMA announcement.
“There’s always an opportunity for a curveball. Even when there’s somebody who’s really, really obvious from the prior season. There’s always an opportunity for something crazy from left field.”
Filming begins on Friday, March 13th.
The new Bachelorette will meet some of her guys at Peter Weber’s The Bachelor – After The Final Rose.
Clare was a runner-up on Juan Pablo’s season 18 of the Bachelor.
She then participated in the Season 1 of Bachelor Winter Games where she met Benoît Beauséjour Savard.
Benoît proposed to Clare on The Bachelor Winter Games: World Tell All. The couple soon called off their engagement.
“We understand a lot of you have been asking about our relationship since the show, and we wanted to thank you all for the love and respect as we navigated it in real life off-camera. We do understand however, having a public engagement on TV kind of changes that. It’s with a heavy heart that we have mutually decided to end our relationship,” they wrote in a joint statement.
“We think the world of each other, and we were both hoping we could make this work. I’m sorry that this may not be what you want to hear, but it’s our truth.”
Clare will turn 39 during the filming of The Bachelorette.
