Chris Harrison Officially Exits The ‘Bachelor’ Franchise – READ HIS STATEMENT

Longtime host of The Bachelor franchise, Chris Harrison is leaving the show after 19 years.

Chris took to Instagram to make the official statement after announcing in February that he would be “stepping aside for a period of time” amid a racial controversy involving a contestant on Season 25 of The Bachelor.

“I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of The Bachelor franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter. I’m so grateful to Bachelor Nation for all of the memories we’ve made together. While my two-decade journey is wrapping up, the friendships I’ve made will last a lifetime.”

There was another statement from Warner Horizon and ABC entertainment which was obtained by Fox News.

“Chris Harrison is stepping aside as host of ‘The Bachelor’ franchise. We are thankful for his many contributions over the past 20 years and wish him all the best on his new journey.”

According to Deadline, a lawyer for the former host threatened to air the series’ dirty laundry unless the longtime host received ample financial compensation.
