The entire Bachelor Nation was frustrated after last week’s drama filled episode.
Ben Higgins and Becca Kufrin talked about this season of The Bachelor while giving him some much needed advice.
“I always lead with this: I like Peter so much,” Becca tells Us Weekly. “He has such a big heart. He just is a really kind soul, so I really do want him to hopefully find someone. That being said, I think it’s a struggle this season.”
“Right now, just me as a viewer, I’m questioning certain things. I’m like, ‘Why are you doing this? Why are you letting her come back? Or why are you just condoning the drama and allowing it to happen?’” she continues.
“It’s difficult to watch right now. I think as it goes on, he’ll figure it out. I think once more of the girls are removed and that drama is removed, he’ll be fine.”
“I think the mark of a good Bachelor or Bachelorette has always been how they deal with conflict,” Ben Higgins told BUILD Series.
“A show can make someone likable … But when truth starts to confront them, it’s how they respond, what they do, that marks a good or bad bachelor or bachelorette.”
“How you handle relationships is very similar,” he continues. “And so I think Peter needs to start putting his foot down.”
“If he just keeps going and there’s some type of ending, we’re all gonna cheer for him. And it’s just gonna get chaotic along the way. It’s kind of how life is. It’s always chaotic and at some point, there’s some clarity.”
“Stop fighting, it’s not worth it. Just take a step back and enjoy this. It’s gonna be OK.”
