Did she forget she was mic’ed up?
It was very clear Barbara Weber wasn’t team Madison after the two night live Bachelor finale.
But you won’t believe what she said in Spanish to her husband on Tuesday night’s After The Final Rose.
Barbara was asked by Chris Harrison how she feels about Madison during the live show.
“I’ve gotten a lot of love on my DMs. But I will say, when I went for Hannah Ann, she was the one who embraced me with love. … I just loved her. The next day we met Madison and it started on a rocky road because she made us wait three hours to come in — she didn’t want to meet us. We had just come across the world, we were exhausted … and we had to wait three hours. And when she did come in, we didn’t get an apology. And when I proceeded to ask her if she was madly in love with my son, she said no that she wouldn’t accept a proposal in four days. … as a mother, that wasn’t what we were expecting,” she told Harrison.
“We just clicked right away,” Barbara said about Hannah Ann. “We, unfortunately, didn’t have that connection with Madison.”
Chris Harrison then turned to Peter Weber’s dad with the same question.
Before he could answer, Peter’s mom leaned into her husband and appeared to say something to him in Spanish.
According to People magazine and The Bachelor fans on Twitter, here’s what she said:
“Di algo mal también, ayúdame.”
Which translates to “Say something bad, too, help me” in English.
Twitter world was quick to react after she said that on live t.v.
“Lmaooooooo 1/5 of the country speaks Spanish and Barb thought she could say this,” a Twitter user wrote.
“Is nobody gonna mention what Peter’s mom said in Spanish? “Di algo mal también, ayúdame.” Meaning “Say something bad, too. Help me.” Ridiculous and toxic.”
“Did Barb forget her mic was on? Telling Peter Sr. to say something bad & help her out her case in Spanish is just a whole other level! Does she not know how many people speak & understand Spanish,?” another fan tweeted.
